Outline of Major
The goal of the International Commerce Major is to enhance understanding of international relations and exchanges and non-governmental organizations, such as multinational corporations, international organizations, and civic groups, and to cultivate global talent with knowledge and perspectives suitable for the globalized era. The major provides a curriculum that enables convergence research in international management, international economics, and international politics necessary for understanding and analyzing various global issues in order to respond to the rapidly changing international environment. By focusing on various international management, international economics, and international politics subjects, where students can experience theory and practice simultaneously, we greatly enhance our students’ competitiveness in modern society.
The international management track of the International Commerce Major aims to cultivate corporate decision-making capabilities under a changing international management environment along with the internationalization of Korean companies. The international economic track consists of general economics, international economics, and statistical methodologies, and the main goal is to systematically train professionals in the international economic sector who have acquired the theory and practice of industrial, international trade, and financial policies, focusing on microeconomics and macroeconomics. The field of international politics consists of international relations, international political economy, and research in major regions of the world, and promotes professional understanding of international relations such as military, security, economy, society, culture, and development.
